Newko aka ‘The Chinga Style’ is a rapper, singer, composer and a producer of Korean descent, who was raised in West Auckland, New Zealand. He is the first Asian New Zealander to hit top 10 Hip Hop charts in New Zealand as well as in South Korea with his first EP album ‘I’m Here’ and his debut track ‘Let me show you’.
He often produces for other artists including his own crew ‘64D’ members and will be returning on the 25th of November 2022, with a heavy duty hot new EP album called ‘Light it’, featuring Scribe, Mr.Sicc, B’wonder, VoVo (of ‘No Brain’ band) and many more with mixture of very unique and diverse of genres of Hip Hop.
This EP covers everything from Rock-HipHop to fusion of Korean traditional drums and Westcoast beats, from Old school G-funk to New School Drill, which is going to attract a wide audience.
This EP album was produced by Newko and his producing duo ‘Unknown Smokerz’ member B’wonder.
