Through lots of hard work and defying retail odds I have definitely built this business to be one of Taupos main attractions and punching above its weight since I started in 1999.(est 1986)
We are passionate about music, highly organised with unbelievable titles of CDs DVDs and Lps from the very latest to the greatest .
Energetic Manager (Jason) carefully hand picks a selection of the best & current titles on CD, Music DVD and New LP from a wide variety of genres as well as offering strong support to New Zealand artists. We order weekly and this helps us provide a personalised special order service for items that we may not have in stock so we can get almost anything.
Our finest asset is our friendly team .We are knowledgeable music lovers that always go out on a limb to help.
Manager (Jason) has the ability to sell hundreds of unknown artists and albums that don’t chart yet within a year most become top-selling. We are always searching for new music to promote.

We have had in store signings by the entire Huey Lewis and the news Band, Alan Parsons, Icehouse, Bonnie Tyler and visits from awesome band members from REO Speedwagon, Dr Hook, CCR, Starship and more...Yeah man! in this cool little music store.
